Diyaluma Ella Falls drops 220 metres through the Badulla District landscape in the scenic Uva Province highlands, surrounded by tea plantations and misty mountains. The waterfall is fed by mountain streams that swell dramatically during the monsoon months, transforming this cascade into a thundering curtain of white water. During drier periods, the flow gentles to a more delicate veil, but the surrounding forest remains lush and green year-round.
